Digital Footprints Poster and being Smart Online

Today for Cybersmart my class and I were learning about leaving footprints on certain sites. Our teacher told us that we must be smart when going online because when you post something online but delete it later It will still be there as a footprint even when deleting stuff on your history. She also talked about when you’re growing up what will your children think of you when a post of you having fun and doing bad stuff will appear when they’re on their devices. The lesson  I learnt was to be careful about what you share online and what you post online.

The Charactics of light, How it is used and works

Today at Technology in Steam class I learnt the charactics of light, how it is used and how it works. The charactics of light is Reflection and brightness and how it is used is when you reflect light onto an object like a mirror it reflects back but when it shines on a clear glass it goes through the glass and when the light goes onto a tv it creates a rainbow with the light. The way it creates the rainbow is just a white light. so how it works is when the white light goes into a prism it separates and makes the light bigger so you could see the colours, but when it comes together you can’t see the colours because all the colours are squished together that makes the white light.

Samoan Patterns

Today in Cybersmart Mani and I learned how to make Samoan patterns using google drawing tools. We also learned the meaning behind the samoan patterns and what it represents.  Samoan patterns represent community, power, status, respect, honor and is a mark of pride only to be worn by Samoan.

Steam Class and Technology

Today at technology in Steam class, we learnt the meanings of the word steam which is S for science, T for technology, E for engineering, A for arts and M for mathematics. We also learnt how to use Care, Curiosity and Creativity. The part I found challenging was how to contribute in the group because people would always say the things I wanted to say and make me lose my idea.
